CHQ News - Status of Contempt Petition regarding up-gradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts w.e.f 01.01.2006

It is learnt that as per cause list, our Contempt Petition bearing No. C.P/180/137/2016 filed before Hon’ble CAT Ernakulam Bench in OA No. 289/2013 regarding up-gradation of GP of Inspector Posts w.e.f. 1/1/2006 is listed for hearing on 07/11/2016 (Monday) in Court No.1. 

CHQ News - Status of our Contempt Petition regarding upgradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts w.e.f 01.01.2006

It is ascertained from our counsel that no reply has been filed by the respondent i.e. Secretary, Department of Expenditure, MoF in our contempt petition. The case is said to be posted in the second week of this month. Exact date is not informed by the lawyer.

Contempt Petition filed by CHQ under No. CP/180/137/2016 at Hon’ble CAT Ernakulam Bench regarding up-gradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts of Rs. 4600/- w.e.f 01.01.2006 has been heard today and admitted. Two weeks time granted to respondent to file reply.

Contempt Petition bearing No.C.P/180/137/2016 regarding up-gradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts of Rs. 4600/- w.e.f 01.01.2006 has been listed for tomorrow in Court No. 1 of Hon'ble CAT Ernakulam Bench.

CHQ News - Filling of contempt in Hon'ble CAT Ernakulam Bench in OA 289/2013

As all members knows that Hon’ble CAT Ernakulam Bench had delivered judgement in OA No. 289/2013 on 16/10/2016 for upgradation of GP of Inspector Posts from Rs. 4200/- to Rs. 4600/-, but Ministry of Finance (i.e. respondent) has not taken any action/decision so far for upgradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts w.e.f 01.01.2006. 

CHQ has already decided and informed to all members and delegates during 39th All India Biennial Conference held at Jaipur on 13th and 14th February 2016 and also time to time through blog and messages that, after receipt of first pay of 7CPC, CHQ will definitely file contempt in OA No. 289/2013 if the GP is not enhanced w.ef.1/1/2006. All the required documentations and procedures are the final stage of completion. Money is also transferred to Kerala Circle by CHQ and our Kerala Circle Branch is in touch with the counsel. Contempt is likely to be filed soon.
